A great story always starts with a great team
The inception of VetConnect dates back to a chance encounter between two passionate individuals, Wang, Zhe and Wang, Guozhang, who shared a common vision: to revolutionize animal healthcare by leveraging cutting-edge technology. With their respective backgrounds in business management and technology, they were uniquely positioned to turn their dream into reality.
The idea for VetConnect was born when Wang, Zhe's beloved pet faced a serious health issue. The fragmented nature of the existing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems for pets made it difficult for veterinarians to access vital medical information, delaying the diagnosis and treatment of his pet. Zhe realized that there had to be a better way to manage medical records and streamline communication between pet owners, vet clinics, and veterinarians.
Zhe discussed the challenges he faced with Guozhang, who had extensive experience in technology and management due to their work in the pharmaceutical industry. Guozhang immediately recognized the potential to create a unified and accessible EMR system that could improve the lives of animals and the efficiency of veterinary practices. Together, they decided to bring their vision to life and founded VetConnect.

As they embarked on their journey, Zhe and Guozhang assembled a team of like-minded professionals who shared their passion for animal welfare and innovation. The team included Liu Yuan as the COO, Zhang Qian as the CMO and UX expert, and Hairong (Marcelo) Zhou as the CTO. Each team member brought their unique skill set and experience to the table, ensuring the rapid development and growth of VetConnect.
Today, VetConnect is a thriving start-up software company with a mission to create a comprehensive and user-friendly EMR system that connects pet owners, vet clinics, and veterinarians. Our goal is to create better health outcomes for animals by providing easy access to vital medical information, streamlining communication between all parties involved in animal healthcare, and utilizing the latest technology to improve the efficiency of veterinary practices.
